Since 2019, we have run 2 major flagship projects. We are constantly looking for partners and opportunities to collaborate, to maximise our impact.
MPower Women
1 September 2019 - 31 August 2020
We partnered with the Perak State Government & Grab to help B40 women access economic opportunities by getting onboard Grab as driver-partners and enabled them by providing child care subsidies. With this programme, female driver-partners can enroll their kids in selected TASKAs at a subsidised rate, to enjoy better flexibility & freedom to earn. This programme was supported by Axiata Young Talent Foundation.
MPower F&B
20 April 2020 - 14 June 2020
A project that empowers university students to provide pro bono consulting services to micro F&B business owners struggling in the COVID economy. Our mentors were paired with 7 undergraduate students from diverse academic disciplines and mentored them through the process.
The businesses include an Indian ice cream seller, baby food pop up store and cafe in the Klang valley. The scope of work was to help the business owners set up and enhance their digital presence. At the end of the project, our clients reported a positive increase in sales, outreach and digital media engagement rate.
